在2018年，我們曾經發行過具有多重文化成長背景的臺灣製作人Rgry(@rgry_s7)與Henneysee，亦即雙人組合「七段」的錄音帶專輯 "Zsblqd”（縮寫：中山北路七段）。後來基於一些私人原因，Henneysee將他的藝人名稱改為了新化名Rohan Mills (@rohanmilly)。

早年由錄音帶發行與Beattape起家的我們，Beats音樂始終在我們心中留有一份位置。這次很開心重新和Rohan Mills在台北聯繫上並邀請他為我們精選了這次的Spotify歌單：如同主題”To the sun, I say good evening”，這或許會蠻適合失眠的你聆聽。 

7️⃣關於Rohan Mills

現居台北的音樂創作者Rohan Mills對於多種領域均有涉略：從動態影像剪輯到語言學、當然也少不了聲響。在14年加入台北音樂組織Beats and Friends (Bnf)之後，他便積極地與其他Bnf成員展開常態性的現場演出以及錄音作品的合作。其中“TYPE A” (2019)這張收錄40曲Beats的獨立錄音帶發行即一舉涵蓋了他與Tarolin(@_tarolin), Conehead 錐頭(@coneheadsthought), Queen James, 以及Side Chen(@kool_klone)的音樂作品，為台北Beats場景提供了一個重要的紀錄。

近期，Rohan Mills更推出了他的最新個人獨立音樂企劃“THE CATHEDRAL EXPERIMENT”，現正於Bandcamp上架中。

We were very happy to meet with Rohan Mills again in Taipei and invite him to curate the Spotify playlist for us. Rohan Mills is an artist based in taipei. his practices involve movement, language, audio and video. after being introduced to taipei’s music collective beats and friends in 2014, their collaborations have included numerous live shows and the release of “TYPE A” (2019), a 40-track beat tape also featuring the works of Tarolin(@_tarolin), Conehead (@coneheadsthought), Queen James, and Side Chen(@kool_klone).

Most recently he’s released an independent project titled “THE CATHEDRAL EXPERIMENT”, which is available on bandcamp.
