Born and raised in the 90’s, LA based producer Hiland grew up in a time where dance music ruled the underground. It wasn’t until recent years he began to release his own form of dance music to the public. It is now his mission to bring that underground spirit to the new generation. High Excession is an EP consists with five Lo-Fi house jams that are melancholy but simmering. Opening track "The Start" is a garage-tinged house tracks with low-fi basslines and shuffling percussion. Hiland goes in heavier with “Knowledge”, The captivating, warm lo-fi house track has a rambling bass line with a shuffling percussion, perfectly layered throughout the track. Following up "Hold On" is a deep retro house vibes with atmospheric pads, acid grooves and nice vocal samples. "Ecstasy", an acid-tinged track that smartly trims the acid bassline in between synth lead, giving it a nice and loose groove. The ending track "Be True" rides on a simple house chorus with a gentle sway, that burrows its way into your head.
